During the period of 11-16, April, Civilight attended the largest lighting trade show in the world - the Frankfurt International Lighting Fair 2010 held biennially in Germany.  Civilight continuously presented its distinguished brand and achievement of R&D at the same booth since 2006.  These advanced engineering samples included high-lumen A60 bulb, LEDincand (spheric light source), variety of dimmable lighting products, ceramic spotlights and so on.  Additionally, the A-, G-, C-series light bulbs, spotlights like MR16 / GU10 / Par-series, and dimmable T5 tubes  were the regular lighting products presented at the exhibition.  The newest products drew most visitors' and clients' attention obviously and their response proved the outstanding performance of Civilight's capabilities on technology development and production management.

      EU market is a fast-growing and highly potential market to Civilight.  Civilight expected to exploit EU market more thoroughly by face-to-face communication with visitors and clients and, therefore, to develop more suitable and friendly lighting products to specific target clients in the near future.  Another purpose of Civilight's trip to Frankfurt lighting fair was to upgrade its technique level and to observe the market trend by learning from major global competitors.

       An interesting episode happened when Civilight's workgroup planned to return after the end of Frankfurt lighting fair.  The volcano eruption of Iceland blocked their way home due to the shutdown of major airports within EU.  No air traffic was allowed and all transportation and logistics system were deep in chaos.  Though Civilight's workgroup was stuck in a quite comfortable and free accommodation beside Frankfurt airport, they were eager to return post all days and the trip to Frankfurt became their most unforgettable experience ever had.
